Keeping the Lost Generation

Engaging Young Adults in Britain's Towns

The 2020Plus Civic and Business Leaders Event in Horsham, UK will bring together key civic, business and third sector leaders to look at how towns like this one can engage and keep Millennial young adults.

In an age of globalisation and urbanisation, many young adults equate success and innovation only with large cities. Many leave towns to take up higher education or employment and return only in middle life. In the meantime, towns miss out on their unique skills and creative outlook.

Spirit FM interviewed social futurist Mal Fletcher, who will present two keynote speeches at the event, about this problem and what can be done to attract young people back to towns.
